Rendering Techniques

STD.DEV uses advanced rendering techniques for optimized visual representations. The core is Physically Based Rendering (PBR), which delivers realistic results by accurately simulating the interaction of light and materials. In addition, the engine uses Deferred Shading, in which light and materials are processed separately, which increases both performance and flexibility in the representation. Tone Mapping ensures the correct representation of HDR content on standard displays, while Raymarching enables the rendering of complex procedural content.
