STD.DEV directly integrates platform-native XR tracking mechanisms to ensure precise and consistent interaction. The implementation of hand and controller interactions is specially optimized for the effective manipulation of meshes, volumes and particles and allows for extended interactions with generative algorithms.
Functionalities such as AR object occlusion take into account the physical conditions in the room, whereby virtual content is placed in the environment in a realistic manner. Spatial anchors allow the fixed anchoring of XR content, regardless of the starting point of the XR session.
In addition, STD.DEV has developed an XR user interface system based on Material Design 3. This interface automatically transforms web content designed via the STD.DEV CMS Drupal into navigable XR environments, which ensures efficient and consistent user guidance in XR.
