Controller Interaction

The STD.DEV Extended Reality Engine precisely implements interaction with XR controllers. When a controller is detected, the appropriate 3D model is displayed in the virtual environment based on its type information provided by the XR platform. Controllers offer a variety of input options such as buttons, analog sticks, and touchpads, which are used by the engine to enable a range of interaction mechanisms - from simple navigation to more detailed manipulations within the scene. There is also the option of generating controller models procedurally to increase flexibility and adaptability. This ensures seamless and efficient interaction in STD.DEV's Extended Reality projects.
